Leland on the Mucilin Fly Line Dressing
Mucilin, from Thames Fishing Tackle of England, has been the classic choice for fly line, leader, and fly dressing for a long time. This firm paste comes in a resealable plastic "tin" with an applicator pad. According to various experts, the Red formula is recommended specifically for dressing only silk fly lines, while the Silicone Green formula can be used on modern, plastic fly lines.
