You knew something had to give. One doesn’t spend more than 15 years designing a lineup of the most breathable waders and outerwear, only to have that breathability compromised by substandard layering pieces. K.C. Walsh and his Simms team have poured their efforts into the design and manufacturing of powerful wicking, quick-drying layering products. The first and foremost  factor in a good layering garment is it’s wicking ability, or breathability; not just the movement of moisture off your body, but the transport of moisture from one layer to the next outer layer.
