We live in a technological age. Everything we do is based on high tech, so why should clothing be any different? Modern science has made all our lives more comfortable, including the way we protect ourselves from Mother Nature's elements. There have been some serious breakthroughs in clothing design, which has gotten very sport specific.

You wouldn't try to play baseball in a football uniform, why would you try to fish in climbing clothes. Our sport has progressed to the point where there is very specific clothing available to protect you from the elements. Several of these advancements have come in the form of sun protection (UPF and SPF), moisture control (wicking) and adaptability to changing temperatures. The most important thing to remember is moisture movement. Moving the moisture away from your skin keeps you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

Wearing the right apparel while you're out on the water can make the difference between a good day and a bad day.  By wearing the proper clothes and you can concentrate on fishing, not the cold, wind, rain or sun!!
