You fish all day trying to hook the fish of a lifetime and finally you get the take you've been anticipating -- hook set -- tight line, Yeazzzzzza! The thing that makes it even more special is the fish took your very own hand tied fly. Is tying that important? No, but it is extremely rewarding when a fish wallops your fly. You sure as heck are not going to save any money by tying your own flies, but that's not why you do it anyway.
