Can you improve the best waders on the market? Apparently you can. When we were told Simms was introducing a new top-of-the-line wader, we wondered why? We couldn't even keep the Classic Guide waders in stock! Then again, Simms knows a lot more about manufacturing waders then we do. This was never more evident than when we first laid eyes on the G3 waders. Introduced in 2003, they replaced the Classic Guide as Simms top wader. Expanding upon the proven design of the Classic Guides, Simms set out to develop the G3. And, in doing so they raised the bar of their wader manufacturing much, much higher. The G3 waders are 30% stronger and 20% more breathable than the Simms Classic Guide Waders! As result of their surveys, Simms found a few functional items that could be added to their waders. When you're a great company, you never stop pleasing, and they haven't stopped yet! A quick-drying outer hand-warmer pocket will change the comfort level of winter steelheading forever! The addition of a tippet-dispensing inner pocket, that also holds a large fly box, will, no doubt, send minimalists into a frenzy! And for the absent mindedness in us all, Simms has added a rear belt loop and built-in Schoeller® (lycra) gravel guards.
