R. Valentine Atkinson joins Leland Fly Fishing Outfitters
San Francisco, CA May 11, 2010 – Fly Fishing Hall of Fame member and world-renown angling photographer, Valentine Atkinson, has hooked up with Leland Fly Fishing Outfitters as principal photo contributor.
Atkinson’s visual adventures have taken him to 29 countries capturing stunning images of flyfishing, exciting game fish and exotic locations. His photo library boasts over 80,000 images and
his work has graced the covers and pages of countless fly fishing magazines as well as the walls of the world’s most discriminating angling art collectors. His photographic work is also brilliantly showcased in his first large-format book, “Distant Waters,” and his most recent book, “Friends On The Water”.
"I'm extremely pleased to be asked to join the Leland team with my photography on a mission to convey creative imagery to current and future anglers alike. I think it's a win-win for both of us," Val remarked when asked about his new role at Leland.
